What is gestational surrogacy?
You carry an embryo created through IVF from the intended parents' or donors' egg and sperm. There is no genetic relationship between you and the baby you carry.
How much will I earn?
First-time surrogates receive $60,000 base compensation plus a $1,000 signing bonus. That base is paid in nine installments of $6,600 every four weeks during pregnancy, and at least $6,000 including the bonus is in your hands by the time of your first embryo transfer. Repeat surrogates receive higher packages.
Does it cost me anything?
No. All medical bills related to the journey — including your post-birth visit — legal fees, travel for you and an adult companion, lost wages, childcare, maternity clothing and housekeeping are covered.
What screening is involved?
A preliminary psychological evaluation administered by a licensed psychologist and a medical records review by a reproductive endocrinologist, alongside a background check for you and your partner.
How long does matching take?
Matching typically takes three to six months, depending on preferences and the fertility clinic involved. Most full journeys run around 15 to 24 months from application to birth.
Do I get my own attorney?
Yes. You are represented by an experienced surrogacy attorney at no cost to you, for both the contract and the parentage phases.
Can I still apply if I've been a surrogate before?
Absolutely — experienced carriers are welcome and receive higher compensation packages.
